Zoran Dimitrovski, the member of the Democratic Union party (DS) that left the coalition with the ruling SDSM, indicated that Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski “sows political fog” and “brazenly lies” that he had contact with the prime suspects in the case of the double kidnapping and murder, a case that shook Macedonia and the entire region.
“Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski stated in an interview with “360 degrees” that I have met with Palevski last year and called me to answer what I had discussed with him. I urge Kovachevski to say when and where I met with Palevski and to present to the public a transcript of the conversation if he has it. Otherwise, I will consider that he confused me with a prominent member of the SDSM. The last time I saw Palevski was 4.5 years ago, when he was still hoping that Zoran Zaev would let him lead the city organization of the party again, as in the golden times of Crvenkovski,” said the former journalist Dimitrovski, alluding to the former SDSM leader, Branko Crvenkovski.
Palevski used to be the head of the SDSM city organization in the capital Skopje for many years.
