Seven people hospitalized with chlorine poisoning in a hotel

Seven people, including two minors, ended up in the hospital due to signs of chlorine poisoning in a hotel on the shore of Lake Ohrid, several people who used the closed hotel pool showed signs of chlorine poisoning.

The guests from the hotel, most of them from Skopje, including the two minors, were taken to the General Hospital in Ohrid, police informed on Saturday.

The public prosecutor, representatives of sanitary and health inspection, Center for Public Health and Labor Inspection were notified about the case, and police officers with the Ohrid police department conducted an investigation.

The case that happened on Friday evening is being investigated by the authorities.
