Public prosecutor DarkoJakimovskiin his closing speech on Thursday demanded the harshest punishment in the name of the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) for the accused in the case of the bus accident near Laskarci. According to the prosecutor, there was prudence in everyone’s actions and it was only a matter of time on what basis, as he said, “the chaos of work could have resulted in these or similar consequences”.
In his closing remarks, he emphasized that the evidence presented during the hearing shows that the actions of all the defendants are directly related to the consequences that resulted in 16 deaths. According to him, everyone had a legal duty to prevent this consequence from happening and indicated that he thinks it is not a matter of frivolity because, as the prosecutor said, the harmful consequences could have been prevented.
