The year 2023 will be remembered as the year when the employees of the Ministry of IInterior, after the total “drowning”, got some air to breathe with the minimum salary increases. For those raises, for which there was a great possibility of being dignified and at the level, the members and supporters of the SPM were literally thrown to bite the dust from the higher structures in the hierarchy, the Union of the Police in Macedonia (SPM) said in a press release on Sunday.
“Yesterday we were informed that the proposed amendment to increase the wages of the police by 10% and return the per diems for official travel WAS REJECTED CREDIT TO THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE GOVERNMENT IN PARLIAMENT!!! You destroyed a great profession, you brought the police to the lowest and believe me, in a few months from now YOU WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN!,” reads the press release.
