Macedonia marks 115 years since the birth of poet and revolutionary Kosta Solev Racin

The Macedonian poet and revolutionary Kosta Solev – Kocho Racin was born on this day, December 22, 1908, 115 years ago, in Veles.
Racin is known for his poetry and is one of the founders of contemporary Macedonian literature.
His collection of poems “Beli mugri”, which was published in Zagreb in 1939, is one of the most significant works in contemporary Macedonian poetry.
He died in an unfortunate and unexplained case in the locality of Lopushnik, near the partisan printing house in Kichevo on June 13, 1943.
