If they are patriots, then they should support changing the Constitution and make Bulgarians a constitutional category, because in this way the Macedonian people will be legitimized at the international level, said the leader of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, addressing the opposition, for which he assessed that their priority is not the country’s membership in the EU, but, as Ahmeti says, coming to power.
“I have also told them in our meetings, and I say it publicly once again – if they are patriots, then they should support changing the Constitution and making Bulgarians a constitutional category, because in this way the Macedonian people will be legitimized at the international level. And we, the Albanians, are not against them, but they have us as a support, so that they don’t lose the support of their fellow citizens who have never challenged their identity or language, but have always given support,” said Ahmeti.
