North Macedonia may have requests from other EU member states on the way to the Union even if the constitutional amendments are adopted, says Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of N. Macedonia, José Luis Lozano García, in an interview with Radio Free Europe. He reminds that reforms in law, justice and the fight against corruption are also important along the way, while he assesses the annual report of the European Commission on the progress of Macedonia.
“Whether the glass is half full or half empty depends on whether you are the government or the opposition,” said the ambassador.
In a few days, Spain will hand over the presidency of the European Union to Belgium.
