Macedonian Association “Ilinden”-Tirana welcomes investigation of Top Channel journalists


The Macedonian Association “Ilinden”-Tirana welcomes the engagement of the journalists of the Fix Fare show on the Top Channel television, for the investigative story in which it is confirmed how a false certificate of Bulgarian origin is issued for money in the administrative unit of Ostreni, Golo Brdo area, reads the association’s press release.
“A big thank you to the journalists of this famous show, which until now has uncovered a series of corrupt affairs. It is another confirmation of what we regularly warned, that the census in the Republic of Albania was followed by many problems and irregularities,” reads the press release.
“Ilinden” reminded that before and during the census, as an association, they constantly warned about the pressure from individuals and the Bulgarian institutions to not get accurate data about the ethnic affiliation of the population in these regions.
