The Association of Sports Betting of Macedonia (ASOM) strongly reacts to yesterday’s passing of the Law on Games of Chance in the first reading, a move that makes it clear to us that the MPs from the ruling majority have decided to pass this harmful law at any cost.
“It is incomprehensible how MPs go against common sense, against the citizens they represent and against 10,000 employees just to protect the obvious business interest of the few in power.
It is unfortunate that the MPs have been turned into protectors of the business interests of individuals from the Government, while with their voice they torture thousands of families of employees in the legal activity that will lose their income,” said ASOM in a press release on Friday.
