The leader of the Democratic party of Albanians (DPA) Menduh Thaci warns that the interference of the Kosovo Self-Determination party in the elections in N. Macedonia could be a dangerous precedent. According to him, it is good that the EU did not open the way for Albania, because then “we would stay here like children alone in the dark yard”.

“It is nothing new or unacceptable for a political party from Kosovo or Albania to express support for a party here. But it is a bad precedent when that party (Self-Determination) is in power. There must be many excuses or alibis because Serbia or Russia may have implications in the political organization of the Macedonian parties,” said Thaci.
