The Criminal decides solely based on evidence submitted by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Interior Ministry and based on judicial autonomy, the Basic Criminal Court Skopje points out after the reactions that resulted from the illegal decisions of the Court on the developments in M-NAV.
“it is indisputable that an event from a criminal legal aspect existed, therefore in order to enable the smooth conduct of the criminal procedure, i.e. investigation by a competent prosecutor, the court considers it necessary to ensure the presence of the suspects. However, it is necessary to know that the investigation order for the specific event covers eight people, and until now a proposal for determining measures to ensure presence, as well as evidence of their involvement, has been submitted for only four of them,” reads the reaction of the Criminal Court.
