The Bitola Ministry of Interior filed criminal charges on Janyary 7, 2024, against V.S. (65) from Prilep, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that on January 6, 2024 he committed murder to P.R. (63) from the village of Shivec, Kavadarci, residing in Prilep. The murder victim was the suspect’s wife’s brother.
On 06.01.2024, it was reported that in a yard owned by V.S. in Prilep, P.R. was found dead with an injury to his head. A doctor from the Prilep Emergency Medical Service confirmed the victim had died, and by order of the Public Prosecutor, the body was handed over for an autopsy.
Police officers carried out an inspection and from the measures and activities taken and the statements received, it was established that in the yard V.S. and R.P. they consumed alcohol together, after which there was a mutual verbal argument, which turned into a physical fight, in which R.P. he fell and hit his head on a concrete pillar of a house under construction. The suspect confessed the crime.
