Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi will hold an informal press briefing on Wednesday over the Parliament’s current and coming activities, preceded by a coordination meeting to define the exact dates of the sessions related to resignations and election of a caretaker government.
By Sunday midnight (January 28), the country should get a third transitional government, which will be led by Talat Xhaferi, the current Parliament speaker.
This government is elected one hundred days before the parliamentary elections on May 8, and two weeks before, on April 24, the presidential elections will be held. Preparations and staffing of the caretaker government are ongoing, and are expected to be completed by Friday.
