Fifty pupils from primary and secondary schools in Shtip will not start the second semester of the 2023-2024 school year as of Monday because they went abroad with their parents. The head of the Department of Education in the Municipality of Shtip, Snezhana Saneva, says that this number is not small. According to the data of the schools, in the second half of the year there will be 26 less students in secondary schools, and in primary schools this number is 24.

So at the level of the Municipality, that is a total of 50 pupils, who will no longer attend classes. Otherwise, let’s say from the “Goce Delchev” Municipal Elementary School we have a reported absence, but there parents have not yet explained why the children are not attending classes, that number is somewhere around 25 pupils and let’s hope that this second semester they will continue with teaching, they will return to the school desks and finish the school year regularly,” said Saneva.
