The National Bank (NBRM) and the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning will exchange information for the purposes of research and development of policies to deal with climate change, according to Governor Anita Angelovska Bezhoska and Minister of Environment Kaja Shukova at a meeting held to discuss new cooperation plans.
At the meeting held at the National Bank between Governor Anita Angelovska-Bezhoska and the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Kaja Shukova, the interlocutors agreed on cooperation, which will consist of the exchange of relevant information and data for the development of quality analyzes and policies. The governor emphasized that the NBRM fully recognizes the importance of climate risks, both for the economy as a whole, and for the financial system, and within its competences, and has been regularly taking measures for the past few years.
