The Serbs have no closer people than the Macedonians. The only thing that Serbia would like is to build even better relations with North Macedonia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said in the Macedonian National Theater of the solemn academy on occasion of the national holiday of Serbs in North Macedonia – St. Sava Day, on which for the first time Vučić attended.
“I am the president of Serbia, but I am not afraid to say that the Macedonians are our closest people. We have no closer people than the Macedonians. As you can see, I say that openly and clearly in front of the entire Serbian and Macedonian public. We are not asking for anything from North Macedonia. We have no conditions for anything. We don’t expect anything. The only thing we would like is to build even better and closer relations,” said Vučić.
