The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, highlights the election of Talat Xhaferi from the Albanian party DUI as the Prime Minister of Macedonia as a historic event for the Albanians in Macedonia.
Rama reacted to Xhaferi’s election as prime minister of the caretaker government in Macedonia, evaluating it as a historic moment – the election of the first Albanian prime minister in the country.
In a post on X (former Twitter), he assessed that :the leader of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, has done a lot for the rights of Albanians in Macedonia”.
