If the Management Board of the Health Insurance Fund (HIF) makes a decision to reduce the salaries of the employees by 21 percent, the employees will go on strike, said Branko Adzigogov, head of the HIF Union Organization.
Only one person will work at the counters, who will only receive documentation and there will be no payments of capitation for family physicians, for drugs for pharmacies, for salaries in public health, as well as other services, said the first trade unionist.
Members of the union in front of the Fund building are waiting for the outcome of the continuation of the session of the Management Board that started on January 4, for, as Adzigogov said, the unprincipled proposal that requires a reduction in the employees’ wages.
