Customs officers seized 1.3 kilograms of silver jewelry at the entrance of the Bogorodica border crossing after a passenger traveling from Turkey tried to bring it into the country without reporting it to the customs authorities.

The confiscated jewelry consists of about 157 pieces of rings, 21 pieces of bracelets, 45 necklaces, 26 earrings and 20 pendants that the person hid in a bag that he put behind the back seat and in a suitcase placed in the luggage compartment, says the Customs Administration.

The person did not have any documentation for the silver jewelry that he claimed to have purchased in Turkey.
