The Municipality of Kriva Palanka will be the organizer of the City of Culture event in 2024, the commission decided after the competition announced by the Ministry of Culture, which was published on the National Portal for e-services: https://uslugi.gov.mk. The Municipality of Veles also submitted an application to the competition.
After the assessment of the applications, and in accordance with the priorities, criteria and criteria stated in the competition, the expert committee composed of employees of the Ministry of Culture assessed that the Municipality of Kriva Palanka has a rich program, which offers a sustained program concept, with different genres and aesthetics from the traditional and from contemporary creativity, with the participation of relevant domestic and foreign artists.
The program contains 55 projects from all activities. The event will begin in March and will continue until the end of the year.
