The Macedonian Parliament elected Ljupcho Kocevski as Chief Prosecutor with 62 ‘yes’ votes on Tuesday.

Previously, the proposal for prosecutor Ljupcho Kocevski was submitted by the Government, and he was the only one who received a positive opinion from the Council of Public Prosecutors, besides the prosecutors Fatime Fetai and Lidija Raicevikj.

Kocevski has been a lawyer since 1995, and in 2008 he was elected to the higher prosecutor’s office in Gostivar. Two years ago, he was promoted to the Republic Prosecutor’s Office.
