Macedonian President StevoPendarovski said Thursday the European Union has never reacted on the abuse of the so-called EU flagfast-track procedure prior to the adoption of any law, until now, in the case of the amendments to the Law on Games of Chance.
Pendarovski says in a press release that the communication from the European Union, which clearly notes that the procedure had not been followed, was also sent to the Government and the Parliament.
Regarding the Criminal Code amendments, the president says a clear EU directive on asset recovery and confiscation is in place.
