Public Transport Enterprise (JSP) Skopje buses are resuming their operations as normal on Friday after receiving assurances they would get the January wages during the day.
“Misunderstandings have been overcome and employees will get the January wages during the day. In the interest of our beneficiaries, we will provide regular service with all public transport buses on the streets,” said JSP Skopje in a press release on Friday.
“The City of Skopje has once again shown that it will not allow anyone to block the work of public enterprises and harm the interests of citizens. Once again it has become clear who is working against the interests of the citizens, and who is in their interest, it is clear that certain structures in the city want to start political quarrels with the city administration and the JSP employees to the detriment of the citizens,” reads the press release issued by JSP Skopje.
