The former Minister of Interior, Oliver Spasovski, does not consider himself personally responsible for the chaos with the issuance of personal documents, especially travel documents.
“All aspects of enabling are enabled during that period. During that entire period, both the Action Plans and the steering committee that managed the entire process, all of that, as provided by the positive legal regulations, was handled that way. You absolutely cannot force anyone to take out the documents in 2021, 2022 or 2023,” Spasovski told TV Telma.
According to Spasovski, all preconditions were created for the citizens to replace the documents in a timely manner.
