In the Ministry of Interior, a procedure has been opened in the internal control department to examine the contract for the purchase of forms for travel documents, in which only 20,000 passports were received out of the 400,000 ordered, sources in the Ministry of Interior told TV Telma.
So far, there are no findings from the internal investigation.
“Regarding the contract for the procurement of travel documents, we inform you that a procedure has been opened for it at the department for internal control, criminal investigations and professional standards,” the Ministry of Interior responded briefly.
