The titular highest position in the state is the president of the state, in our country you know that the executive power is with the government and the prime minister, but the titular president is the number one position in the country and must be elected in elections because it is the pinnacle of democracy, so the most democratic countries throughout the world do. Any attempt to suspend democracy is just an attempt to put the people out of the decision-making process, VMRO-DPMNE deputy leader Aleksandar Nikoloski told a press conference on Friday.
Opposition deputy leader Nikoloski added that the idea promoted by Ali Ahmeti and Artan Grubi was an idea of them ruling forever.
“I am aware that Ali Ahmeti and Artan Grubi, who promoted this idea today, would like to rule forever in a way that will have a serious party influence on the election of the government and the president of the country, and this is an undemocratic act and it is an attempt to protect crime and corruption in Macedonia,” said Nikoloski.
Nikoloski urged the citizens to go to the polls en masse and to vote in as large a number as possible.
