Customs officers foil smuggling attempt of gambling machines


Nine gambling machines, as well as 405 maintenance parts, were seized after an importer tried to smuggle them among declared goods for import customs at the Gevgelija customs office.

The devices together with the maintenance parts were discovered during a detailed control which was carried out by the Mobile Team of the Department of Control and Investigations.

Appropriate charges have been filed against the company importing equipment for casinos and slot machines for violating customs regulations.
