The Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) is satisfied and grateful for, as they say, the mass of citizens in support of Bujar Osmani’s candidacy for president of the country.
“As the public already knows, the progressive idea of the leader Ali Ahmeti is for the president of the state to be elected in the Parliament with 2/3 of the votes and with Badenter,” the ruling Albanian party said in a press release.
According to DUI, this will elect “a president with full legitimacy, save over 20 million euros in the state, tens of thousands of citizens will be spared from the process of collecting signatures and all citizens will be spared from campaigning and participating in elections for a protocol function”.
