Instead of on a daily basis, from next Monday the money for subsidized student meals will be paid out at once for six days a week. This is foreseen by the latest amendments to the Law on subsidized student meals, made at the request of student organizations and associations, in the direction of advancing the solution for using this systemic measure.
The Ministry of Education and Science (MES) reports that starting next week, every student who exercises the right to a subsidized student meal will receive a budget in the amount of MKD 840 on their transaction account for buying a meal, i.e. groceries, and they will be able to use it from Monday to Saturday, the MES informed on Wednesday.
