SDSM party leader Dimitar Kovachevski met with Spanish Prime Minister and leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE), Pedro Sanchez, at the sidelines of the Election Congress of the Party of European Socialists (PES) held in Rome.
The both affirmed the importance of fostering social-democratic values as a foundation of democratic societies that contribute to the economic and social development of the European continent. Kovachevski said only SDSM can provide North Macedonia with a clear perspective for European integration, European standards and values.
Kovachevski said the SDSM-led government has strengthened democracy and rule of law in North Macedonia, progress has been made in judiciary reforms and market economy.
