SDSM leader Dimitar Kovachevski faced a debacle in Rome, where he traveled two days ago for a meeting of the Party of European Socialists.
Although Kovachevski was invited, the organizers did not allow him to enter the event.
The influential news outlet Politico released a statement made by former Prime Minister Kovachevski regarding the situation.
“When I invite people, I invite them to come in, not to stay on the street,”Kovachevski said after he was refused entry to the gathering of the elite of the European Socialists.
The former Macedonian ambassador to Italy, Oliver Shambevski, confirmed the information.
