The State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate (SSHI) received on Monday the decision from the Minister of Health, based on the recommendations of the Commission for Infectious Diseases, to carry out extraordinary inspections and prohibit the admission of children to preschool institutions, who are not immunized, or who are incompletely immunized with the DTaP vaccine, the State Inspectorate informed on Friday.

Extraordinary inspections will begin on Monday, March 11, with the issuance of a decision to prohibit the admission of children who are not immunized or are incompletely immunized with DTP, as well as other ordered epidemic measures, said the State Health Inspectorate. The Inspectorate adds that responsible persons in preschool institutions will be required to prepare a list of all children that have not been vaccinated with the DTaP vaccine.
