The Macedonian Ministry of Interior in a statement for Plusinfo says that the Safe City system equipment has already been tested in terms of speeding and passing red lights. The results of testing the equipment and the cameras are positive.
“The implementation of the upgrade of the Safe City system is in the initial phase. The arrival of all the equipment and the preparations for setting up the new locations are in progress,” the Ministry of Interior.
“For now, we cannot inform when exactly it will be put into use. In terms of what is the price of upgrading the Safe City system and which is the company hired for its implementation, it is classified information,” added the Ministry of Interior.
