The Macedonian Ministry of Interior informs the citizens of Skopje that it is starting a new way of issuing identity cards.
“The analysis of the success of the delivery of ID cards to the home address of the citizens in Skopje, showed that it is incomplete, non-comprehensive and insufficiently efficient, and at the same time it does not have the desired effect both among the citizens and among the police officers in charge of delivery.
Therefore, starting Monday March 11, 2024, a new process for issuing ID cards is starting in the premises of the local competent police stations according to the place of residence of the citizen indicated in the ID card,” the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.
