VMRO-DPMNE’s deputy leader Aleksandar Nikoloski, during his visit to the municipality of Vasilevo, emphasized that considering that it was an agricultural area, the extremely bad situation in the past period was obvious, and the policies of the government were demotivating more and more farmers.
“We are witnessing a disaster, in just 5 to 6 years, the arable land in the country has halved. It is primarily the result of bad policies in the area of subsidies, the way has completely changed that demotivated a large number of farmers to work. Unfortunately, I saw a large part of them in Switzerland during my visit to the diaspora,” said Nikoloski and added that those farmers who were from these parts, instead of seeing their happiness in their homeland, moved abroad.
