Inspection into Electoral Roll for upcoming double elections ends Monday midnight

Inspection into the Electoral Roll for the coming presidential and parliamentary elections and the diaspora application process ends Monday midnight. Citizens can check their data and file any requests they might have through the State Election Commission (SEC) website until the midnight deadline.

According to SEC data, 4,859 people inspected the Electoral Roll in all SEC offices nationwide. Seven people submitted requests to have their data updated, 19 people submitted requests to have data included, whereas five people submitted requests to have data removed.

In addition, a total of 22,122 citizens have inspected their Electortal Roll data online until March 14. Of them, 25 submitted requests to have their data updated, six submitted requests to have data removed, whereas ten submitted requests to have data added.

As regards diaspora voting, 2,049 persons from the diaspora have applied to vote until Sunday at 8 pm. Of those, 1,430 applications have been accepted, 165 have been rejected, and 434 are pending.
