According to the latest report of the Institute of Public Health, four confirmed cases of HIV and one of AIDS were reported in February, all cases are male aged 20 to 39 years.
One AIDS death was reported in 2018, of a male, belonging to the age group of 35 to 39 years. According to the existing records of reported cases, as of February 29, the cumulative number of people registered with HIV/AIDS in the Republic of N. Macedonia, for the period 1987-2024, is 645, and that is – 127 people died, 518 people are living with HIV/AIDS, it is said. in the HIF report.
