The presidential candidacies have already been confirmed, and according to the amendments to the Electoral Code, from the moment of confirmation of the candidate lists until the start of the election campaign on April 4, the participant in the election campaign may not spend funds from the transaction account intended for the election campaign, and the participants in the elections have the right to organize one public event for the promotion of their confirmed lists of candidates and election programs.
Article 69-a of the Electoral Code states that an election campaign is considered a public gathering and other public events organized by a participant in the campaign, and in paragraph 2 it is stated that it begins 20 days before the election day and in the first and second round voting must not last 24 hours before and on election day.
