After the formation of the next VMRO-DPMNE-led government, electricity bills will be lower, due to the cancellation of the network access tariff. The network access tariff of MKD 200 is a new fee introduced by SDS in order to collect more money from the citizens in the budget, VMRO-DPMNE said on Wednesday.

“Platform 1198 provides for the abolition of the network fee introduced by SDS. The net fee of MKD 200 is unfounded and hits the citizens’ pockets. After the formation of the government, the tariff system will be revised and the new government will abolish the network fee of MKD 200, on which, when VAT of 18% is calculated, we get to a sum of MKD 236, money for which the bills will immediately be reduced,” reads the press release of the main opposition party.
