VMRO-DPMNE and the Coalition’s MP group in the Parliament reached a conclusion to take all necessary measures, to pass all the parliamentary filters that envisage putting rice on the list of products for the creation of commodity reserves, said the MP from the ranks of VMRO- DPMNE Dragan Kovachki on Tuesday.
“With this, the Agency for Commodity Reserves will be able to work with rice as with other crops and will enable market surpluses to be bought by the state. Through this we will have an increased purchase and real market prices of rice.
We demand that the party games are put aside, for the Parliament Speaker to call a session immediately, and for the MPs from the majority to support the legal amendments and to help the rice farmers at the beginning of the rice sowing activities,” Kovachki said.
