The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services (AVMU) in order to clarify the method of application of the rules of the Electoral Code, issued Guidelines for Broadcasters for the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
The Guidelines cover the rules for the limits of paid political advertising (PPR), the designation of the advertiser, the distribution of time in news at the Public Service, the free political presentation on the Parliamentary channel, the provision of accessibility of the content for the electoral process for persons with disabilities, the rules for reporting on the days of election silence, especially for the overlapping period of the two election processes.
