VMRO-DPMNE presidential candidate Professor Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova believes that we can make Macedonia proud. The slogan of her campaign is “Macedonia proud again”.
“We should let the judiciary work on its own. We should be proud of the achievements in culture and art, of athletes, of scientists. If Macedonia is represented by the best and if it appreciates them, then pride will return, we will see happy faces on the street. How can I be proud if I live in a country that is considered the unhappiest or the most uneducated, and we have more universities per capita than Britain? We have to select those who are already European or American. Those who are proven, they have self-confidence and their equal performance in all areas will lead to respect. If you are respected, you will be proud. Let’s make the Republic proud again,” Siljanovska-Davkova said in an interview with Republika.mk.
The opposition’s presidential candidate believes that “we need strong institutions and not powerful political individuals, who unfortunately are mostly political hyenas”.
