The presidential campaign of VMRO-DPMNE candidate Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova on Sunday ended with a rally in Kochani.
In her speech, Professor Siljanovska Davkova said: “It’s time for the fourth Ilinden and for the fourth Macedonian republic”.
“What particularly disturbs me these days is the awareness that we will be celebrating 80 years of ASNOM, the second Ilinden. We deserved and strengthened the pride as in the anthem with the battle for justice. That was the case with the Republic of Krushevo, with the partisans and ASNOM, and that was also the case in 1991. I think it is time for a fourth Ilinden, for a fourth Macedonian Republic. A republic by the people and for the people. A republic with standards in all areas with professional and competent administration. Macedonia, where the best and smartest can come to the right places, and not leave. A decent country. That’s the only way they will have respect for us,” said Siljanovska-Davkova.
