Mickoski: I’m taking the initiative to create national unity, it’s necessary because the country has been taken away from the people by several corrupt DUI/SDS officials

VMRO-DPMNE – VMRO Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity, it is a very strong name, which is not only because of the historical VMRO and the continuity that we refer to as an idea and organization that we celebrate and which is an inseparable part of the Macedonian national movement and perhaps the most significant for the Macedonian national identity, but at the same time because of the obligation and responsibility that the second part of the name carries with it. For a long time, that obligation and responsibility seemed to be avoided, sometimes neglected, sometimes even concessions were made to make it happen, but there were attempts, although unsuccessful, said Hristijan Mickoski, VMRO-DPMNE party leader and the holder of a list in the first election district at Thursday’s rally in Ohrid.
Mickoski noted that he wants to succeed in creating Macedonian national unity.
“I will start my first initiative to ensure Macedonian national unity by announcing a moratorium and stopping all attacks against Levica and the ZNAM movement. I feel this as a need of the Macedonian people, but also as my obligation to try to realize the idea of national unity in moments when the state needs it most, in moments when the country is taken away from the people and is in the hands of a few corrupt DUI politicians with several corrupt SDSM politicians who are sitting on the lap of the ones from DUI,” Mickoski said.
The VMRO-DPMNE leader emphasized that ‘Macedonia must be united on all grounds, for that to happen it must start somewhere, and there is no better time than to start that process right now’.
