The National Bank performs the statistical function in a high-quality, timely and transparent manner, which is of vital importance for ensuring macroeconomic stability, conducting monetary policy, as well as for making quality decisions by economic policy makers, it was emphasized at the meeting between the governor of the National Bank Anita Angelovska-Bezhoska, Vice-Governor Fadil Bajrami and Chief Statistician and Director of the IMF Statistics Department Bert Kroese, held within the framework of the Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank.
The director of the IMF Statistics Department expressed great satisfaction with the fact that the National Bank prepares quality statistical data, following the highest statistical standard SDDS plus, as well as with the new projects it successfully implements.
