At the rally in Prilep, the holder of the list for the ED4 of the Your Macedonia coalition and VMRO-DPMNE deputy leader Aleksandar Nikoloski commented on the nervous messages delivered by the leader of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, from the rally in Skopje. According to Nikoloski, Ahmeti’s performance has two messages behind it, one hidden and the second open.

“Ali Ahmeti held a rally in Skopje’s Macedonia Square, in front of the monument to Alexander the Great, thus wanting to show who is the boss in Macedonia. Ahmeti’s rally only demonstrated what we have been saying all the time, that the boss of Macedonia is Ali Ahmeti and that SDSM allows him to boss Macedonia. On the same day, they had a rally, SDSM went in front of Ramstore, they held it on the main square,” Nikoloski said.

“The second thing you all heard was the threats directed at our party leader Hristijan Mickoski. Those threats are an act of nervousness, but also threats that say a lot about the structure of Ali Ahmeti. Every time you catch them doing crime, they call on the UCK. Whenever you catch them for corruption they call for war. Every time you tell them that they will answer, they say that something bad will happen. Let me tell them now, this is not 2001, this is 2024, first. Secondly, this VMRO-DPMNE leadership is not the same as the one from 2001 and we are neither afraid of you, nor will we give in to you, nor will we sit at the same table with you to negotiate, let alone come to an agreement,” pointed out Nikoloski.
