Total of 342 domestic and 568 foreign observers accredited for presidential elections

The presidential elections on Wednesday will be monitored by 942 observers, foreign journalists and interpreters. As of April 19, the State Election Commission (SEC) has accredited 342 domestic observers, mostly from association “Wake Up” (182), and 568 foreign observers, most of whom from OSCE/ODIHR – 375.

The other accredited monitors include Civil-Center for Freedom, Inkluziva-Kumanovo, Foundation Roma for Democracy, Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), National Democratic Institute (NDI)-Skopje, training center of the Georgia Electoral Commission, Embassy of Slovakia to Skopje, and the European Dialogue and Democracy Association from Bergen (Norway).

The presidential elections will also be covered by 32 foreign journalists from Reuters, Agence France-Presse (AFP), Euronews Albania, European Pressphoto Agency (EPA), Al Jazeera Balkans, Voice of America in Macedonian, Top Channel Albania, etc.
