By planting a tree in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – MFA building and visiting the Memorial Center in Pelince, members of the Diplomatic Club marked April 29 – the Day of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of N. Macedonia and the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Macedonian diplomatic service.

Planting a tree is considered a symbol of the permanence of this service and its development, and the visit to Pelince is another sign that R. Macedonia has its foundations in the decisions of the meeting of ASNOM from August 2, 1944 in the ProhorPchinski monastery, according to the announcement from the Diplomatic Club on the occasion of yesterday’s activities.

The foundations of Macedonian diplomacy were laid with the decision of the Executive Council of the Republic of Macedonia made on April 29, 1969 to establish the Foreign Relations Bureau.
