Pustec unveils memorial bust of Goce Delchev

At a ceremony organized by the municipality of Pustec, Albania, a memorial bust of the Macedonian revolutionary Goce Delchev was unveiled Saturday at the town square.

Macedonian Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska expressed her satisfaction that together with the Macedonians on the other side of the border, she pays tribute to one of the brightest characters of our history, an ideologist and a fighter for a free and independent Macedonian country.

“Goce Delchev’s work connects all Macedonians. We will never give up on the great deeds and great words of our revolutionaries who were on the right side of history, as we are today. We who are in the progressive camp and who wish the country a bright European future with equal citizens and happy young generations,” said Kostadinovska-Stojchevska at the unveiling of the bust, on the 121st anniversary of Delchev’s death.
