A total of 1,128,000 Macedonian tourists visited Greece last year, a figure almost doubled compared to 2022, show data of the Institute of the Association of Greek Tourist Businesses INSETE.
In the “Who goes where? How long does it stay? How much does it spend?” survey, INSETE analyzes official data from the Bank of Greece on tourism and tourists in the country in 2023, focusing more specifically on each of Greece’s 13 regions.
Macedonia is once again among the first 15 countries in terms of the number of tourists and remains unchanged at the 11th position, although the number of visitors from our country has increased dramatically.
